Just some time back I finished watching a movie on "HBO" which had a story-line related to "spirits and ghosts". I was wondering if all this fiction can every be real!! I discarded the thought after some time however later on a train of thoughts started in my mind. Most of the things in the world were considered to be "un-real" and imaginary till such time that they were proved to be real. Look at hindu mythology which talks of the ancient sages being able to see events that were happening far away from where they were located. That was mythology till the television was invented. Now all of us have that "live telecast" power that Sanjay had while narrating Mahabharata live to Dhrutarashtra. The thought of television gave me a clue. There are television transmission waves all around us when we are sitting in our living rooms but can we see or hear anything unless we switch on the TV? Do these waves bother us when the TV is tuned off? Do you get your cell-phone, radio and TV transmissions mixed up when you are watching your favourite TV soap? Can you see a lot of pictures and sound being transmitted through the air even though we know that there are thousands of TV and radio channels transmitting? All this is not a mystery for us as we all have learnt that these waves are at a different "frequencies" and unless you have a device that "catches" or "matches" this frequency, nothing can be seen or heard. Simple, isn't it?
Now apply the same thing to the "others". Consider for a moment that we all - living as well as non-living beings in this world are at a different frequency and the "others" are at a different frequency. Unless we cross each other's "band width" we cannot experience anything. Is that why when 2 people talk and think similar it is said that they are on the same "wavelength"? So can it be true that if and when we come to the "same wavelength" as "theirs", we experience the paranormal? And is this phenomenon very rare and thats why not many people claim to have seen either God or ghosts?
Wow! This is becoming interesting but its 00.59 hrs here and I think I need to wrap up. Nevertheless, at least I will conclude this blog with a firm statement that everything is possible unless it is proved otherwise and hence everything can be "real" unless it is proved to be "unreal"!!
Thats all for today! Good night. Have a great tomorrow!!
